Foundations of Advanced Mathematics

The transition from GCSE to A-level mathematics is not always easy. Even students with 'A' and 'A*' grades often have difficulties with this, and many capable students with 'B' and 'C' grades struggle because they lack the depth of understanding in a number of key areas of some of the higher level GCSE curriculum. I provide a set of tutorials to help students make this transition, called 'Foundations of Advanced Mathematics'. By concentrating on building up mathematical skills in crucial areas, I can ensure that students have the best possible foundation on which to build their A-level studies.
